Harry O'Neal Gifford

Harry O’Neal Gifford, 74, of Florence, passed away November 20, 2014 at E.C.M. Hospital. He was a member of Salem Church of Christ and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2014 from 2 – 3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Daniel W. Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mr. Gifford was preceded in death by his parents, James Gifford and Arlie Wilson; brother, J.W. Gifford; sister, JoAnn Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Virgie Nell Overton Gifford; son, Harry “Bud” Gifford (Tina); daughter, Shelaine Michael (Daniel); brothers, Horace “Pete” Gifford (Marilyn), Billy Howard Gifford (Lillian); grandchildren, Nathan Gifford, Natalie Gifford, Amy Beth Michael Knight, Aaron Michael, Anna Grace Michael; great-grandchild, Piper Knight.

Pallbearers will include Joshua Knight, Brian Miller, Michael Danley, Calvin Gifford, Fred Bevis, and Nathan Gifford.
