Managing Funeral Director and Embalmer
Joel is a 1996 graduate of John A Gupton School of Mortuary Science, Nashville Tn. Joel successfully completed his National Board Certification in Mortuary Science in 1997. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Alabama and Tennessee. Joel is retired from the United States Air Force with 21 years of service. He enjoys traveling and motorcycling. Joel has been a Funeral Director at Greenview Memorial for over 22 years. Joel is Greenview's managing funeral director. Joel is married to Janie Daugherty. She is also a licensed Funeral director and embalmer in Tennessee.
Licensed Funeral Director/ Embalmer
Wade is a life-long resident of Florence, AL. He graduated from Bradshaw High School. Wade is a Army Veteran, where he served as a Co-Pilot/ Navigator on the OH-58 A/C Scout Helicopter. After serving his Country, Wade attended Jefferson State Mortuary College. He graduated from Jefferson State with a degree in Mortuary Science. Since 1996, Wade has served as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is married to Regina Clark. Wade has a daughter, Maggie Clark, which attended Florence High School. Wade is looking forward to serving the people of Florence and the Shoals area for many more years to come.
Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
Joshua Myhan is a 2010 graduate of the University of North Alabama. Josh is an Alabama licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director. Some of Josh's hobbies include going to historical sites, reading, hunting, fishing, watching baseball and watching Alabama football. Josh is married to Emily Myhan. They have two daughters, Addie Jane and Mollie. The Myhan family resides in the Shoals area. Greenview is very pleased and fortunate to have Josh helping us serve the families in our community.
Ricky is the second generation to help manage this family owned business. He graduated from Muscle Shoals High school in 1980. He graduated from the University of North Alabama in 1984, where he studied finance. Mr. Cook was self employed for over 22 years. He has now been employed at Greenview Memorial for the last 11 years. Ricky has two son's, Devin Cook and Dillon Cook. He is married to Tammy (White) Cook. Tammy graduated from Muscle Shoals High School and then graduated from the University of Alabama Huntsville, with a degree in accounting. Ricky and Tammy have been together for over 33 years. It is Mr. Cook's ambition to continue the quality of service that Greenview Memorial provides to the community.
Linda is a life-long resident of the Shoals area. She graduated from Colbert County High School. She attended North West Shoals Community College and the University of North Alabama. She has worked in the secretarial profession for twenty six years. Linda is married to Gary Hunt. They reside in Florence, AL. Linda has been employed with Greenview for over 17 years.
Property and Building Maintenance Supervisor
Glenn McCann is the Property and Building Maintenance Supervisor for us at Greenview Memorial Park.
Kiley Landers is a graduate of Wilson High School. She has been employed at Greenview Memorial Chapel for over four years. She has been a great asset to the company. Kiley has filled a very important role in the day to day operation of the funeral home, as the head of housekeeping. Kiley is married to Randall Lander. She has one son, Dakota.
Mark is a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County. He graduated from Wilson High School and North West Community College. Mark has two sons, Sidney & Dylan. He is a member of the Petersville Church of Christ. Mark works full time with the City of Florence Gas Department. He enjoys NASCAR, Hunting and Alabama Football. We are extremely lucky to have Mark join our staff at Greenview Memorial. Mark will be assisting our families with any need they may have.
Joe and Rita VanDyke have called Florence home since 1981. They were both born and raised in Tennessee and met while in college in Nashville some 50 years ago. Rita managed, owned and operated Green Oaks Inn assisted living for over 30 years. She served on the Board of Directors for the Assisted Living Association of Alabama for over 20 years. Joe has been a local minister since moving here in 1981. He has also taught psychology and counseling on the college level. Joe also served as a chaplain with the Florence Police Department. They have two children and five grandchildren who they enjoy greatly during their retirement. Joe and Rita will continue to serve their community by assisting Greenview's families during their time of need.
Steve has been employed at Greenview for over 33 years. His job is to supervise all the Cemetery maintenance operations. His knowledge and dedication to his job shows why Greenview's Cemetery Gardens are one of the best looking Cemeteries in the State.
