Joshua is Greenview Memorial's Managing Funeral Director. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of North Alabama. Josh is an Alabama licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director. Some of Josh's hobbies include going to historical sites, reading, hunting, fishing, watching baseball and watching Alabama football. Josh is married to Emily Myhan. They have two daughters, Addie Jane and Mollie. Greenview is very pleased and fortunate to have Josh helping us serve the families in our community.

Wade is Greenview Memorial's Managing Embalmer. Wade is a life-long resident of Florence, AL. He graduated from Bradshaw High School. Wade is a Army Veteran, where he served as a Co-Pilot/ Navigator on the OH-58 A/C Scout Helicopter. After serving his Country, Wade attended Jefferson State Mortuary College. He graduated from Jefferson State with a degree in Mortuary Science. Since 1996, Wade has served as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is married to Regina Clark. Wade has a daughter, Maggie Clark, which attended Florence High School. Wade is looking forward to serving the people of Florence and the Shoals area for many more years to come.

John Cook is a resident of Florence, AL. He is married to Joan Cook. Joan is retired from the nursing profession as a RN, BSN and MSN. They have two children, and four grandchildren. John is an ordained deacon in the Baptist Church. He is currently the host of the Greenview Gospel Hour that is heard Sunday mornings on WBTG, 106.3 FM. John is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is licensed in the State of Alabama and Mississippi. Although John is now officially retired from Greenview Memorial Funeral Home, he is still available to assist families when he is called upon.
John's goals in life are to serve God, his family and the families of the Shoals to the best of his ability.

Ricky is the second generation to help manage this family-owned business. He graduated from Muscle Shoals High school in 1980. He graduated from the University of North Alabama in 1984, where he studied finance. Ricky was self-employed for over 22 years. Ricky has been the Administrative Manager and President of Greenview Memorial for the last 15 years. Ricky has two sons, Devin Cook and Dillon Cook. He is married to Tammy (White) Cook. Tammy graduated from Muscle Shoals High School and then graduated from the University of Alabama Huntsville, with a degree in accounting. Tammy serves as Greenview's accountant. Ricky and Tammy have been together for over 38 years. It is Mr. Cook's ambition to continue the quality of service that Greenview Memorial has provided to the community, since 1950.

Funeral Assistant
Mark is a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County. He graduated from Wilson High School and North West Community College. Mark has two sons, Sidney & Dylan. He is a member of the Petersville Church of Christ. He enjoys NASCAR, Hunting and Alabama Football. We are extremely lucky to have Mark join our staff at Greenview Memorial. Mark will be assisting our families with any need they may have.

Funeral Director Assistant
Bob is a resident of Lauderdale County. He is a graduate of Coffee High School and the University of North Alabama, where he graduated with a degree in marketing. Bob and his wife, Carol, had their own marketing and sales firm representing children's apparel companies, for over 30 years. Bob's lifelong love of horses lead him to competitive riding. Both Bob and his horse are in the Extreme Cowboy Association's Hall of Fame. He continues to ride in competitions every year. Bob is a member of the Lauderdale County Sherriff's Mounted Posse Search and Rescue Team. Greenview Memorial, as well as the Florence community are grateful to have such a caring and giving person working with us.
Funeral Director Assistant
Chris Underwood joins the staff at Greenview Memorial Park after serving on the ministerial staff of Highland Baptist Church in Florence, for 32 years. While at Highland Baptist, he provided pastoral leadership in a variety of ministry areas. Some of his most recently ministries were: he was the Associate Pastor for Missions and Congregational Care, he provided pastoral and leadership for HBC senior adults, he helped in directing the GriefShare grief recovery ministry, he helped support the Divorce Care ministry, he helped meeting the needs of the Church's members through hospital visits and bereavement care, and he provided eulogies services for the members of the Church. Also, Chris holds credentials as a Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Chaplin and he is a volunteer chaplain at the Help Center in Florence, AL.
Chris grew up in Leighton, Alabama. He is a graduate of Colbert County High school and the University of North Alabama. His seminary training was at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. It was at the NOBTS Extension Center in Birmingham, AL where he met his wife, the former Kelly Shearer. They have two daughters. Chris enjoys travel and Auburn University athletics.
Over the years, Chris has worked with the Greenview Memorial staff on many funerals. It is a pleasure to have Chris join our staff at Greenview Memorial Park. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to help our families and our community in their time of grief.
Maintenance Superviser
Steve has been employed at Greenview for over 36 years. His job is to supervise all the Cemetery maintenance operations. His knowledge and dedication to his job shows why Greenview's Cemetery is one of the best Cemeteries in the State.
Property and Building Maintenance Supervisor
Glenn McCann is the Property and Building Maintenance Supervisor for us at Greenview Memorial Park. He has been employed at Greenview Memorial, for many years. Glen is instrumental in keeping the grounds looking good as well as keeping all maintenance items working properly within the funeral home. You will also see Glen assisting on funeral services.
Funeral Assistant
Rita VanDyke has called Florence home since 1981. Rita managed, owned and operated Green Oaks Inn assisted living for over 30 years. She served on the Board of Directors for the Assisted Living Association of Alabama for over 20 years. Rita's husband Joe VanDyke (deceased), served as a local minister since moving here in 1981. They have two children and five grandchildren who they enjoy greatly during their retirement. Rita will continue to serve her community by assisting Greenview's families during their time of need as a funeral assistant. Rita will also serve as Greenview Memorial's assistant administrative secretary.

Apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer
Greenview Memorial Park is pleased to welcome Luke Holcombe to the staff at Greenview. Luke will be serving our community as an apprentice Funeral Director and apprentice Embalmer. Luke is a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County. He graduated from Florence High School in 2021 and the University of North Alabama in 2024. Luke is engaged to his fiancée, Meagan Davis. Luke is looking forward to serving the people of our community.

Housekeeping Supervisor
Maresa (Resi) Montoya recently moved to Florence form Dayton, Texas. She is employed as the housekeeping supervisor at Greenview Memorial Funeral Home. Her hobbies include swimming, working puzzles and spending quality time with her family. She fills an important role in the daily operation and upkeep of the funeral home. Resi has a 13-year-old daughter, Aniya. Resi is a hardworking employee and does and excellent job. Greenview is very fortunate to have Resi working at Greenview Memorial.
