Christine Godsey Lipsey, 94, of Florence, passed away on October 18, 2016 at Glenwood Nursing Home. She was a member of Helton Drive Church of Christ and she retired from the State of Alabama.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamilton, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Godsey; husband, Ralph Lipsey and son, Maynard Godsey.
Survivors include her son, Ken Godsey of Florence, AL; daughters-in-law, Brenda Godsey of Florence, AL and Vickie Godsey of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Selina Riley (Mike), Sabrina Hamley (Jeremy), Felicia Plunket(Chris), Stacy Godsey (Tammy) and Trent Godsey (Emily) and Anita Bosaw; great-grandchildren, Drew Godsey, Jared James, Reed Robertson, Bailey and Jessa Plunket, Sydnie, Morgan, Hailey and Olivia Godsey, Savannah Hamley and Braden and Jace Godsey.
