Mrs. Maydean Young, 94, of Iron City, TN, passed away November 18, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Railroad United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Railroad United Methodist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. John Allen Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Arch Allen Young; parents, Austin Boone and Cordelia Bratcher; brothers, Ernest and Carmel Bratcher.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Young Fitzpatrick (Patrick), of Iron City, TN; sister, Kathleen Leshock of Calgary, Canada; grandchildren, Andrea Turnbow Hopper (Blake) of Rogers, AR, Chad Turnbow of Mt. Juliet, TN; great-grandchildren, Micaela, Nicholas, and Cason Hopper of Rogers, AR.
Pallbearers will be John Young, Bobby Talley, Bill Young, Greg Young, Charles Young, and Kelly Young.
