Was so saddened to see that Mahlon left us. I was in school with him from 8th grade through 12th. He was always a really nice guy. He came to all our class reunions and helped organize many of them. Seeing him was one of the highlights of the reunions. He will be missed in the future. I know you will really miss him, but so glad to know he knew our Lord and we know where he is.

I first met Mahlon in the fall of 1976 when I interviewed for a position with TVA, at the E&D Building, as a college student. Working there for 4 years was one of the greatest blessings! As a student, I learned as much about how to treat people as I did in my "Major" field of Biology. My immediate supervisors were Steve Wells and Don Wade, who worked under Mahlon. How could I have asked for any better men as mentors? Although Mahlon was my "boss's boss," he soon became a life-long friend and mentor to me... Mahlon never failed to have a smile and a kind word, every time I saw him! I can't begin to tell you the amount of love and respect I had for him as a "boss" and as a friend. He will be sorely missed... Our loss is heaven's gain! Sue, you and the family are in my prayers!

Sue and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I learned of Mahlon's passing this morning. I began working with Mahlon in 1969 at TVA's Biology Branch at the E&D Building. Mahlon was well liked by all who knew him. I had not seen him in many years, but still remember him well, as he was a really nice, sweet man.

The poet Kahill Gibran expressed a failure to express love: "Much have we loved
you. but speechless was our love. Yet now it cries aloud unto you...".

I am so sorry to read of the passing of Mahlon. I met him in 1973 when I first started working with TVA and enjoyed working with him until retirement. He was such a pleasant and delightful person. Memories of him will keep him forever in your hearts.

We are deeply saddened but rejoice that we knew Brother Mahlon for so many years and that he had a profound impact on our lives and the lives of others. He was a dedicated servant of our Lord and he will be missed here but heaven is one great soul richer.
Love,
The McDougal Family in College Station, TX
