My condolences for the loss of your Father.
The bible calls death an enemy 1 Cor 15:26 and when it takes those we love, it truly is.
There is a beautiful hope at Jo 5:28,29 where God will remember our dead loved ones and will bring them back to earth to enjoy life forever. Ps 37:11,29.
Soon God will wipe away all tears of sorrow and death and pain will be no more.
Rev 21:3,4
May these promises bring you comfort.
