It is with much sadness that I will miss Emily's memorial service. We had fewer shared experiences than most daughter-father relationships due to the many miles separating us for most of her life. The times we did share together were indeed very special, and I will hold them dear forever. We recently began talking more to try to rebuild our relationship, which had been neglected for some years, and were making plans to get together this summer.
