Mrs. Dorothy Mae Davis Robertson, 82, of Florence, passed away on September 26, 2016 at Mitchell Hollingsworth. She was born in Virginia in 1934 and moved to Florence in 1965 to accept employment with First Federal Savings and Loan where she remained until her retirement after 27 years. She was an avid pet lover and homed many strays who became her family.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Rodney Stansky officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robertson; father, Noah Davis; mother, Lena Agnes Davis; sister, Agnes Cecelia Davis and brother, Marion William Davis.
Survivors include her brother, Robert Lee Davis (Mary Ellen) and sister, Elsie Marie Davis Blunk.
Serving as pallbearers will be Don Richardson, Samuel Billingsley, Philip Davis, Danny Smith, Jim Marlboro and Donald Fowlkes.
