Wilmer "Adine" (Miles) Butler

Mrs. Wilmer “Adine” Miles Butler, 100, of Florence, passed away August 9, 2023. She was a member of Jacksonburg Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 11-2 p.m. at Jacksonburg Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the church with Garry Gooch, Austin Swinea, and Harrison Chastain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Butler; parents, Columbus and Cora Miles; brother, Ellis Miles; sisters, Marie Williams, Nell Powers and Frances Dennison.

She is survived by her sons, Roy Butler (Shirley), and Ray Butler (Sandra); daughters, Patricia Butler, Kathy McCormack, and Doris Seale; brothers, Calvin Miles (Laverne), Arvel Miles (Betty), and Jim Miles (Lynda); sister, Janie Richardson (R.L.); grandchildren, Shane Rice (Rebecca), Mitzi Rice (Kevin Thigpen), Lee Butler, Michelle Hovater (Jarod), Leslie Seale (Gerald Richards), Adam McCormack, and Lisa Seale; and great-great grandchildren, Dakodah Rice (Katie), Cheyenne Nix (George Roden), Rafe Rice, and Grant Hovater, Ryan and Alannah Roden, Finleigh Beavers, and Stella Rice; numerous nieces and nephews, and extended relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Shane Rice, Lee Butler, Adam McCormack, Dakodah Rice, Rafe Rice, and Ryan Roden.

Honorary pallbearers will be Grant Hovater and Jarod Hovater.
