Obituary
Virginia Viola Watson Delano, 87, of Florence, passed away May 12, 2023 at her residence. She was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ.
A visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 3:00-4:30 pm on Sunday, May 14, 2023. A graveside service will follow in Greenview Memorial Park with Frank Mills officiating.
Mrs. Delano was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Delano, Jr.; parents, John Simpson and Minnie Todd Watson; and sisters, Tallulah Watson Johnson and Wynell Watson Gann.
She is survived by sons, Ken Delano (Crystal) and Brad Delano (Myra); daughter, Lori Delano McGuire (Greg); grandchildren, Austin Delano, Jesslyn Maxwell, Tressa Moore, Mary Brook Sifferman, Ben Delano, Linsey Tanner, Meg Conder, Cade McGuire, and Clay McGuire; and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to Partners for Africa through Cross Point Church of Christ or to Kruzn for a Kure Foundation.
