Susan Lisa (Taylor) Wallace

Susan “Lisa” Taylor Wallace, 64, of Florence passed away on June 4, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving friends and family. She attended of Valley View House of Prayer, where she cherished her church family.

A visitation will be Saturday June 7, 2025 at Greenview Funeral Home from 11:00-2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Larry Burbank and Chris Miller officiating.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Wallace; parents, George and Libby Taylor; son, Bradley (Bubba) Lard; and granddaughter, Madison Grace Taylor.

She is survived by special friend, Ricky Crider; son, Michael Taylor; daughter, Brandi Horton (Kyle); brothers, Andy Taylor (Donna) and Steve “Moses” Taylor; sisters, Amanda Hill (Curtis) and Cathy Lambert (Wayne); grandchildren, Matt Peffer (McKenzie), Taylor Davenport (Conner), Jake Taylor, Austin Frazier, Logan Wear, and Kyleigh Horton; and great grandchildren, Hadley Peffer, Presley Peffer, and Kayleigh Lester.

Pallbearers will be Jake Taylor, Austin Frazier, Matt Peffer, Conner Davenport, Leon Sharp, and Austin Crider.

Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Hill, Megan Hill, Wendy Lambert, Misty Lambert, Ramon Lambert, Danny Taylor, Jennifer Benson, Craig Taylor, Anthony Hall, Sky Miller, Taylor Davenport, and Kyleigh Horton.

To know Lisa was to know love. She became everyone’s mom/maw maw nurturing compassion for those that needed her. The empathy she exuded for every person she has ever known is a testament to how caring she was. She is the definition of resilience. There has never been a stronger person to walk this planet. Through her hardships and pain, she continued to be the rock her family could rely on. She was so fun to be around; she had a sense of humor to be envious of. She cemented her legacy of the “coolest grandma ever”. We will miss her every day.
