Stephen Lee King

Stephen Lee King, 71, of Florence, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at his residence.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Killen, AL.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 12-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.

Steve is survived by his wife, Beverly Glover King; sons, Jonathan Lee King (Bree) and David Lee King.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Lee and Mary Louise King; brother, Ronald Hill; and grandparents, C. J. and Ludie King and Clyde and Viola Goins.

Steve graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1972. He completed the brick masonry program at Muscle Shoals Tech. He retired from railroad service having worked for Norfolk Southern and ATN Railroad. Steve enjoyed watching TV,  vacationing at Panama City Beach and Pigeon Forge, and riding his “Beloved,” Exmark lawnmower.
