Shirley Ann Linville

Shirley Ann Linville, 68, of Florence passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her residence.

There will be a graveside service at Greenview Memorial Park on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.  Officiating will be Steve Smallwood.

Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Marcus “Mark” Anthony Linville; her Mother and Father; one sister and four brothers. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Meeks and husband Greg who was like a son to her; grandchildren, Kinsley Meeks and Adam Meeks (Carley); great granddaughter Rayleigh Renea Meeks (due August 27, 2025); sister Clara Mae Willis and brother, Marshall Bass.

Mother, you exemplified strength and joy in the Lord with every single battle you faced.  We saw you fight for so long while steadily comforting us during our grief.  We witnessed a strong mother who put her daughter and grandchildren first while fighting your battle.  All the while standing firm on your faith that you would soon see Jesus and your son, Mark.  Shirley Linville, you were a great mother and the absolute best Nanny to Adam and Kinsley.  My precious mother, it’s time to rest. We will see you again.

Pallbearers will be Adam Meeks, Greg Meeks, James Lee Willis, Brian Willis, Frankie Bass and Randal Hill.
