Sarah "Josie" Josephine (Gillis) Porcari

Sarah Josephine “Josie” Gillis Porcari, 89, of Killen, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lula Gillis; sisters, Faye Willard and Opal Brown; and brother, Dobie Gillis.

Josie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Stephen Porcari; sons, Scott Porcari (Monica) and Tony Porcari; daughter, Kimberly Evans (Glenn); and granddaughter, Leah Porcari; niece, Angie Puller; and sister-in-law, Patsy Gillis.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
