Sally Ann Everett Martin was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on October 14, 1932. She would join Faye, George (Buddy), & Harley as the youngest child of George Herbert (Bert) Everett & Gladys Williamson Everett. She grew up during the Great Depression. She married the love of her life, George Edward Martin, the day after she graduated from high school. In her prime she loved riding and caring for her horses. She also loved gardening, tending her flowers & anything that involved being outdoors. She did many Bible studies & brought many people to Christ. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (Grammie), great grandmother & friend.
Late Friday, October 28, at the age of 90, she peacefully crossed over into eternity.
She is survived by her children, Linda Williams (David), Nanci Andrus (Bart), George Martin II (Holly), & Karen St. Pierre (Ethan); grandchildren, Meigan Williams (fiance Charles Gibson), Dane Williams (Amber), Shanna Wilson, Kendra Martin (fiance Clint Merrill), Mallori Martin, Evelyn Hubbard, Jacey Wray & Jessica Martin; and great grandchildren, Ayvia & Eli Barber, Dylan & Brycen Thrasher, Autumn & Lilly Martin, Axel & Aria Williams & Amadeus, Langston & Clara Martin.
The family will have a memorial service for friends & loved ones at Stony Point Church of Christ on Tuesday, November 22 at 2 p.m. Brad Adcock will conduct the service with Brent Olive leading congregational singing.
Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Dylan Thrasher, Brycen Thrasher, Eli Barber & Axel Williams.
Very special thanks to Connie Sharp for her companionship & care, to Charlene Brown, her ICU doctors, ICU nurses, Skylar, Stacy, Teresa & Alisa who all went above and beyond to make sure she had everything she needed, and to Tracie Jennings for always accommodating her schedule. A very special thank you to Dr. Philip Botelho whose kindness we will always remember.
