Ruth (Crider) Smith

Ruth Crider Smith, 95, of Florence, passed away November 01, 2024 at her residence. She was a member of Broadway Fellowship Church in Florence, AL.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 11-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ryan Tyler and Donald Crider officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jacob Smith, Nick Wright, Shane Smith, Rex Hunt, and Michael S. Smith.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Smith; parents, Marvin and Mason Crider; sisters, Mae Walker and Lorene Arnold; and brother, Paul Crider.

She is survived by her son, Dannie Smith (Becky); daughters, Marsha Wisdom (Shane Smith), and Susan Cole; sister, Jean Hunt (Tommy); grandchildren, Jacob Smith (Susan), Laura McCreless (Terance), Matthew Smith (Susan), Nick Wright (Dawn), D.J. Wisdom, Jennifer Wisdom and Chelsea Fountain; and great grandchildren, Hannah Rhodes, Sofie Saint, Jay Bell, and Aaliyah Johnson.
