Ruth (Phillips) Hardaker

Ruth Phillips Hardaker, 97, of Florence, AL passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home. She was retired as a bookkeeper from Reynolds. Greenview Funeral Home is assisting the family.

A private, family graveside service will take place Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park. 

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hardaker and daughter, Joyce Holt.

She is survived by her son. Chuck Vann (Cindy); daughters, Gail Cassel (Jimmy), Florence, AL, Joy Mills, Florence, AL, Valerie Terry (Mike), Florence, AL, and Linda McCormick, Boaz, AL; grandchildren, Sabrina Mayfield (David), Andrew Terry (Ashley), Zachary Terry, Christopher Cassel (Ashlee), Charles W. Vann (Allison), Tracey Vann; great grandchildren, Ryder Mayfield, Micheala Terry, Judah Cassel, Jordan Cassel, Cooper Vann, A. J. Webster, and Jerrod Webster.
