Roy "R. T." Thomas Arnett

Roy Thomas Arnett, 87, of Florence, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home.  He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union and Salem Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.  Officiating will be Wayne Wood.

Mr. Arnett was preceded in death by his parents, James Roy and Henrietta Olive Arnett; sisters, Gertie Creasy, Odell Conley, Shelia Coker, and Dean Price; and brother, Glenn Arnett.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Naomi Haddock Arnett; sons, Keith Arnett (Linda) and Kevin Arnett (Rebecca); daughter, Karen Todd (Mickey); brother, B. C. Arnett; sisters, Linda Sue Atkinson and Judy Brewer; grandchildren, Bradley Arnett, Craig Arnett, Johnathan Todd, Samantha Adams, Brittney Langdon, Hannah Wallace, Levi Arnett; and great grandchildren, Elaina, Atha Grace, Benjamin, Charley, Caroline, Callie Mae, Jaxon, Maverick, Lily, Lucy, and Ellis.

A special thanks to all the staff at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home for their outstanding care for our Dad.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Arnett, Craig Arnett, Johnathan Todd, Levi Arnett, Joel Arnett, and Billy Arnett.

Honorary pallbearers are Erpha Cole and Bryan Morgan.
