Roy E.D. Knight

Roy E.D. Knight, 78, of Killen, passed away on March 15, 2019 at his residence. He retired from Reynolds Aluminum and was a member of Sheet Metals Local.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joshua Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery in Iron City, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Josie Pruitt White and Elijah David Knight; step-father, Farris White;  brothers, Joe Lance White, Thomas L.D. White, and Alvin David Knight; sisters, Mary Knight Winkles, Hazel Graveman, Aline Slater, Louise Tolar, Valeria Broughton and Sarah Ruth Gwin.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Crunk Knight; son, Kimothy Lynn Knight; daughters, Melissa Knight Michael (John Scarborough) and Pamela Ann Knight; sister, Nancy Arnold (Jimmy); grandchildren, Shayna Knight, Brian Michael (Rachel) and Kyler Michael (Jacqueline Buford), Sara Knight(Fabian Odem) and Taylor Knight (Chyna); great-grandchildren, Kyra Haraway, Mia Michael, Bryson Morgan, Bayley Ray McGee, Chloe Michael, Carley Michael, Asher Michael, Rhett Butler, Ayson Odem, and Annalaya Knight.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Michael, Kyler Michael, Taylor Knight, Fabian Odem, Kimothy Knight and Steve Williams.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Society or to the Dementia Society of America.
