Ronny Dale Corkins

Ronny Dale Corkins, 63, of Florence, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home. Ronny was a pipe welder for over 30 years. He was an avid deer hunter and loved to fish.

Ronny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by his family, extended family and friends. His wife, daughters, and grandchildren were the light of his life.

He fought the good fight and now has gone to rest with the big man upstairs.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Officiating will be Don Mitchell.

Ronny was preceded in death by Elmer and Willie Mae Wilson, Katherine Robinson, Teresa Lynn Wilson, and Lonnie Jo Robinson.

He is survived by his wife, Toni Melton Corkins; daughters, Toccara Thornton (Paul) and Belinda Vickery (Travis); honorary daughters, Adrienne Thornton and Suzanne Stowe; brother, Don Mitchell (Debbie); brother-in-law, Glenn Wilson; grandchildren, Greyson Thornton, Bryant Vickery, Anna Vickery, Aiden Vickery, ReeseLynn Barrow; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Robinson, Gaige Nesbitt, Jonathan “Big Jon” Smith, Zeb Henson, Caleb Henson, Alex Henson, and Garret Henson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Vickery and Paul Butler.
