Roger Dale Borden

Roger Dale Borden, 80, Florence, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at his home on April 6, 2024.  He was a proud serviceman of the U. S. Navy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Borden; son Jerry Borden; mother, Cecil Borden; father, Charles Borden; brothers, Bobby Borden, Ray Borden, and Windell Borden; and sister, Linda Borden.

Roger is survived by his son, Tim Borden (Gail); grandchildren, Brittney Lytle (Manley), Heath Borden (Sabrina), Kyndal Borden; special nephew, Steven Borden (Lee); daughter, Patty McGee; grandchildren, Jessica Norton (Mike), Tiffany Gibson (Darren); grandchildren, Jon Borden (Amanda), Regina Borden (D.C.), Josh Borden, Lexie Rosson (Eli), Justin Borden; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brittney Lytle, Heath Borden, Evan Borden-Lytle, Carter Lytle, Steven Borden, and Lee Borden.

Honorary pallbearers are Manley Lytle and Sabrina Borden.
