Robert “Bob” Clinton McAnally, 95, of Florence, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at his home. He was a member at Cross Point Church of Christ and enjoyed his time with the Jack’s Roundtable on Cloverdale Road as well as the Friendship Center at Cross Point. He served in the United States Army as part of the Far East Command as well as the United States Navy as part of Task Group 7. He worked on maintenance at Reynolds and was a professional photographer.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the Greenview Chapel. Burial will be in the Tri-Cities Cemetery. Officiating will be Steve McAnally and Dennis Smith.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie Jewell Olive and Virgil A. McAnally; sister, Evelyn Jewell Gray; and wife of 70 years, Lillian G. McAnally.
He is survived by his son, Steve McAnally (Carla) of Columbia, SC; daughters, Rhonda Jones (Ronnie) of Muscle Shoals, AL, Brenda Smith (Dennis) of Killen, AL, and Kristi Overton (Tim) of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Marc Mitchell, Noelle Smith, Dannon Smith, Alex Mitchell, Chandler Overton, Jade McAnally, Casey Overton, Mika McAnally, and Kai McAnally; and great-grandchildren, Westley Hayes, Lilly-Ann Hayes, Rayleigh Smith, Trinity Eshee, Abby Smith, Noah Overton, and Baby Boy Overton.
Bob cherished his extended family - treasured nieces, nephew, and their families. A special thank you to Kym and Brad McIntyre for being such great neighbors and even better friends.
Pallbearers will be Marc Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Dannon Smith, Westley Hayes, Tim Overton, and Ronnie Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brad McIntyre, Douglas Hargett, Beau Hargett, and Perry Gooch.
