Richard Carlson Staggs, Sr.

Richard Carlson Staggs, Sr., 71, of Rogersville, passed away on October 30, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital.  He retired from Averitt Express and he was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam and Germany.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 02, 2018. The funeral service will be in Greenview Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 03, 2018 with Licia House officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Grace Staggs.

Survivors include his wife, Esther Darlene Perren; sons, Brian Keith Staggs, Bobby Dale Staggs, and Richard Carlson Staggs, III; daughters, Frankie Lea Cunningham and Sarah Grace Cunningham; brother, Charles Staggs; sister, Shirley Ann Vaughn; and fifteen grandchildren.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
