Richard Kennith Rhymes, Jr.

Richard Kennith Rhymes, Jr., 77, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at his residence.

Richard was born in Midland, Texas, January 6, 1948, and grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  He served his country for 20 years, from 1967-1987, in the U. S. Air Force, retiring as a Master Sargeant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nettie Mae Rhymes; brother, Dana Rhymes; and sister, Kaye Carlisle.

Richard is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Hayes Rhymes; sister, Teresa Stewart; and friends, Jim, Clayton, Nolan, Corbin, and Danny.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Crosspoint Church of Christ.  Officiating will be Sonny Pollock.
