Rebecca Barber Smith

Rebecca Barber Smith, 73, Florence, Alabama passed away on December 30, 2026.   Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. with a Graveside funeral at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield, AL. at 2:00 p.m. with Marcus Wilson officiating. 

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her father, John Barber.

She is survived by her husband, Dannie Smith; Son, Jacob Daniel Smith (Sue) and Matthew Clay Smith (Susan); mother, Lila Williams Barber; sisters, Susan “Susie” Peden and Mary Ann Frye; brothers, Johnny Barber and William “Bunky” Barber; and grandchildren Jeron and Aalyah. 

Pallbearers will be Alabama Patriot Riders and family members.

Honorary Pallbearers will be family members.
