Rebecca Dianne (Barley) Martin

Rebecca Dianne Barley Martin, 72 died July 27,2025.  She was a native of Florence, where she lived most of her life.  

She was a retired RN and an active member of First Christian Church of Florence.

She was a volunteer at The Help Center of Florence for many years

.  

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Whitlock Sullivan of Huntsville, AL.  She is also survived by her mother, Joyce Barley Ruth of Florence, her brother Wayne Barley (Martha) of Foley, AL, her sister Linda Ray of Florence, her brother Mark Barley (Tina) of Wetumpka, AL.  She is also survived by her beloved grandsons, Tyler Sullivan (Samantha) of Huntsville, AL and Brent Sulivan (Skye) of Hazel Green, AL.  She leaves behind her cherished great grandchildren Caroline, Sawyer and Daphne of Huntsville, AL whom she loved with all her heart. She is also survived by her special cousin Madelynne Turner of Clearwater, FL.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Whitlock and her father Breece Barley.

Graveside service will be held at Greenview Memorial cemetery on Friday, August 1 at 11:00a.m. and officiated by Pastor Kenny Windsor.  The family requests memorials be made to First Christian Church of Florence or The Help Center of Florence.
