Rachel Ann (Wood) Young

Rachel Ann Young, 81, of Waterloo, AL, passed away May 9, 2023 at her residence.

She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Holiness.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Wood and Ronnie McKissack officiating. Burial will follow in Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Young; parents, Ellis and Elizabeth Wood; sister, Eva Jean Young; and brother, Larry Wood.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Kelley (Mickey), Waterloo, AL; brother, Claude Wood, Jr., Florence; grandchildren, Nichlos Kelley (Frankie), Waterloo, and Chelsea Caulfield (Miles), Florence; great-grandchildren, Jack, Garrett, and Elizabeth Kelley, and Titus Caulfield.

Pallbearers will be Michael Young, Wayne Sharp, Jeremy McDonald, Donnie Young, Dennis Wood, and Travis Young.
