Preston Travis White

Preston Travis White, 84, of Killen, passed away January 5, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a retired aluminum worker and served in the United States Navy. Mr. White served on the USS Lake Champlain CVS -39 as a PN3.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Landon Willis.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Evelyn Mitchell White; his second wife, Jenice Joiner White; parents, Preston Emerson and Eunice Hunt White.

Mr. White is survived by his daughter, Karen Joy White Icolano (Paul), Athens, AL; step-sons, Keith Russ (Denise), Five Points, TN, and Kerry Russ (Michelle), Lebanon, TN; step-daughter, Kim Russ Stutts (Tony), Leoma, TN, brother, Reeder White, Rogersville, AL; granddaughter, Mary Grace Icolano; step-grandchildren, Dustin Stutts, Shay Smith, Tyler and Taylor Russ, Nicole Russ, and Dakota Russ.

He enjoyed fishing and wood-working, watching Alabama football, Tennessee Titans football, and Braves baseball.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Hyde, Derek Hyde, Dennis White, Joseph Smith, John Smith, and Dustin Stutts.
