Phyllis (Ruff) Burnett

Phyllis Burnett, 84, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at her home. She was retired from TVA.

The funeral service will be Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Greenview Funeral Home. The burial will be Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Miles Stutts.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Wray Burnett; and her parents, Herbert and Myrtle Ruff.

She is survived by her sons, David Burnett (Suzanne) and Derek Burnett; honorary sons, Jason Tillman and Jason Jones; grandchildren, Ben Burnett (Cassie), Stacey Burnett, Alan Burnett, Brittnay Burnett, and Becky Burnett; and great grandchildren, Benjamin Burnett, Paisley Burnett, Bentley Burnett, Christian Burnett, and Sylis Burnett.

Pallbearers will be Ben Burnett, Benjamin Burnett, Alan Burnett, Jason Tillman, and Tim Ray.
