Patsy Gail (Lindsey) Briley

Patsy Gail Briley, 71, of Florence, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, at her home.  She was retired from Reynolds Metals and was a member of Jones Chapel Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Popular Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Leighton, AL. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the Church.  Burial will be in the Poplar Creek Cemetery.  Officiating will be Jackie Nix.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lora Lindsey; birth mother and step-father, Arvel and Nell Cummings; brothers, Jackie Lindsey, Jimmy Cummings, Herndon Lindsey, and Billy Lindsey; sisters, Reba Staggs, Phyliss Parker, and Samantha Mason; niece, Glenda Baldwin; great-niece, Crystlyn Brewer; great-nephew, Dakota Brassfield.

She is survived by her husband, Paul David Briley; sons, Larry (Michele) Briley and Christopher (Michelle) Briley; daughter, Jenny Briley; sister, Martha Milam, grandchildren, Hunter and Karrie Briley, Parker Briley, Kira Briley, Sawyer Toney, Dawson Tarves, and Parker Tarves; 10 nieces and 7 nephews.

Pallbearers will be Will Gifford, Jesei Gifford, Douglas Matney, Parker Briley, Hunter Briley, and Chandler Nix.

Honorary pallbearer is Phillip Nix.
