Patricia "Pat" McBride Mahan

Patricia McBride Mahan “Pat”, 85, of Florence AL, passed from this life on March 22, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ronald Mahan; son, Price and daughter, Rebecca.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Guthmiller(Randy); and son, Paul Mahan(Tim Davis); grandson, Josh Austin(Kaci); granddaughter, Elly Villaruel (Jacob); great grandson, Gunner Austin; and extended family and friends.

Pat was born in San Antonio, Texas and was very proud of her Texas roots.  She spent many years volunteering at the Florence Public Library, where she helped the public track down their ancestry. Pat was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Florence, AL.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Florence Public Library or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. 

A graveside service will be held at Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor James Garnett.
