Nancy (Lane) Chard

Funeral service for Nancy Chard, 77, of Florence, will be 11 AM, Friday, November 15, 2024, at Greenview Funeral Home.  A visitation will be Thursday, November 14, from 5-8 PM at Greenview.  Joel Garrett will officiate the service.  The interment will follow the service in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Chard was born June 27, 1947, to Alvin B. Lane Sr. and Hannah Schuyler Lane. She was a member of St. James Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star in Florence.  She was active in the Circle of Hope.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chard; parents, Alvin & Hannah Lane; niece, Jennifer Condon.

Mrs. Chard is survived by her sons, Tony (Dana) Chard, Al (Cindy) Chard, Sam (Dawn) Chard; brothers, Alvin B. Lane, Jr., Pat (Linda) Lane; sister, Gloria (Eddie) Quidas; 15 Grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

The family extends a special thanks to her caregivers; Joan, Penny and Karen.

In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
