Misty (Stutts) Gray

Misty Stutts Gray, 53, peacefully passed into God's hands on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Visitation will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m., with the service following at 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home/Memorial Garden, 3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633. Officiating-Keith Davis.

Pallbearers-Mason Gray, Doug Hatton, Chris Haddock, Michael Haddock, Matthew Sparks, and Jerry Gray.

Misty was preceded in death by her grandparents, Collins Elton(Jewel) Stutts, William Coleman, and Mamie Lou McDonald; her father, Danny E. Stutts, and her sister, Kelli Stutts.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Gray; her mother, Sherry Stutts Hatton (Doug); her daughters, Meagan Brown and Morgan Grigsby; her son, Mason Gray (Wendy); and her cherished grandchildren, Brayden Grigsby, Lilli Brown, Meadow Brown, Camila Gray, and Sebastian Gray;(Her loved dogs, Cooper & Mia)

Misty lived a beautiful life, centered around faith, family, and unconditional love. She was known for her kind heart, quick smile, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Misty was raised in Florence, Alabama, and graduated from Wilson High School in 1990, where she proudly helped lead the girls’ basketball team to a state championship in 1989. She carried that same spirit of determination into every part of her life. She will forever be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Misty’s presence was a source of light and joy to everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
