Michael Lodato Obituary

Michael Phillip (Mike) Lodato, passed away peacefully, following an accident, Monday, April 29, 2024 in Florence, AL.

Mike was born March 27, 1965, in Tampa, FL. and grew up in Sarasota, FL.  After spending time in the Air Force, stationed in Maine, he was a long-time resident of Stow, OH. where he worked at Goodyear in Green, OH. and later at General Motors Lordstown.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Mutascio, Tampa, FL.

He is survived by his fiancé, Diana Russo, Killen, AL; father and step-mother, Phil and Mary Lodato, San Antonio, FL; daughter, Ashley Brewer, Howell, MI; granddaughter, Madison Hoskins, Howell, MI; brother, Chris O’Bryant, San Antonio, FL; sisters, Cindy Stewart, Chamblee, GA. Joy Stewart, Flowery Branch, GA. Kelly (Bob) Brehm, Columbus, NE. Kimberly (James) Donnelly, Cranford, NJ. Susan (Dalene) Essaf, Santa Barbara, CA; and best friends, Sharon Budrow, Jasper, GA. and Debbie Cefaratti, Spring Hill, TN.

Mike enjoyed tinkering and could fix practically anything. He loved travel, cars, motorcycles, music, and had a special love for eagles. He was a huge Formula One, Tampa Bay Bucs and Florida Gators fan. Mike's laugh and his passion for life was infectious and he befriended everyone he met.

A private family service is being planned.
