Mary Alice (McCafferty) Withers

Mary Alice Withers, 88, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home.  She was a member of Faith Church and Church Without Walls.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Bro. Roger Reed.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Withers; son, Danny Withers; and parents, Nolen and Daisy McCafferty.

She is survived by her sons, John Glenn Withers and Thomas Charles Withers; brother, Melvin McCafferty; sisters, Edna Talley and Christine Tate; grandchildren, Wesley Withers (Vickey), Brandon Withers (Jennifer), Matthew Withers (Samantha), and Takoda Withers (Chloe); and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Troy Talley, Johnnie Talley, Wesley Withers, Brandon Withers, Matthew Withers, and Takoda Withers.
