Mary Ruth Farley

Mary Ruth Murphy Farley, 80, of Florence, passed away on December 26, 2018 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehab. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a hairdresser and a nursing home employee.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018. The funeral will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Reverend Dwayne McDuff officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Murphy; brother, Floyd Murphy; sisters, Mildred Perkins and Louise Clemons.

Survivors include her brothers, Earl Murphy of Kentucky, Raymond Murphy (Barbara) of Florence, and Johnny Murphy (Sue) of South Carolina.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank Denise and Penny with Community Care Hospice and the fourth wing and rehab staff at Mitchell Hollingsworth.
