Mary Alice (Yerbey) Berry

Mary Alice Berry, 84, of Florence, passed away July 24, 2023. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptish Church and volunteered at Safe Place for many years.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2023 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with Rev. Rich Hardeman officiating.

Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Maggie Yerbey; husband, Richard Berry; daughter, Margaret Ann Collier; son, Richard T. Berry “Ricky”; granddaughter, Jessica Phillips; brother, Jack Yerbey; and sister, Norma Rhodes.

She is survived by her son, James R. “Jim” Berry; daughters, Tina Phillips, Karen Patterson (Paul Amp), and Jeannie Miller all of Florence; sisters, Billie Ruth Roberson, Betty Creasy, and Carolyn Collier; and grandchildren; David Collier, Richie Phillips, Heath Berry, Justin Berry, Caleb Collier, Ricky Turner, and Bailey Miller.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Heath Berry, David Collier, Richie Phillips, Caleb Collier, Ricky Turner, and Justin Berry.

Trystan Couch and Paul “Amp” Patterson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
