Maria Guadalupe De Limon

Maria Guadalupe Carbajal De Limon, 93, of Florence, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025.  She was a housewife. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 50 years.

Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 12 noon, at Greenview Memorial Chapel.  Interment will be in Greenview Memorial Park, Love Mausoleum.  Officiating will be Marion Daniel Pettus; presiding: Bishop Damian Knudson.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Esdras Limon; parents, Nicolas Carbajal and Maria del Refugio Briones; brother, Martin Limon; granddaughter, Ruby Alcala; and great grandson, Jason Cahua.

She is survived by sons, Valente Limon, Southern CA., Nicolas Limon, Midway City, CA., Guillermo Limon, Westminster, CA., Martin Limon, Florence, AL; daughters, Guadelupe Parroquin, Gildarda Meza, Angelica Lopez, Beatriz Pettus, all of Florence, AL; Margarita Limon and Eliser Alcala, Killen, AL, Maria Nance, Athens, AL; sister, Filiberta Limon, Jalisco, Mexico; 50 grandchildren; 73 great grandchildren; and 11 great, great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Valente Limon, Guillermo Limon, Nicolas Limon, Martin Limon, Nicolas Limon Reyes, and Alexander Limon.
