Margie (Talley) White Moore

Margie Talley White Moore, 89, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at El Reposo Nursing Home. She was an employee of Posey Furniture Company and Monarch Tile. Margie was a member of Eastern Star-Killen and a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Shoals Praise and Worship Choir.

 Mother opened her eyes and smiled; I can only imagine who or what she was seeing as the breath of life left her. She passed peacefully with no fear but completely confident in where she would spend eternity.

Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2024, from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Ashley Pettus.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Moore; parents, Rev. M. A. and Opal Talley; brothers, Johnny Talley, Bobby Talley, Don Talley; sisters, Olene Norman and Virginia Davis.

She is survived by sons, Tony White and Jeff White (Donna); daughters, Tanya Inman (Keith) and Vanessa Gibbs (Jeff); grandchildren, Christopher James (Cynthia), Dalton Inman, Jake White (Tiffany), Daniel White (Stacey), Todd Gibbs (Kristen), Lindsi Balentine (Kole), Dana Hamner, and Dawn Hamner; great grandchildren, Tanner Gibbs, Aston James, Sophie Gibbs, Emmett Balentine, Lazarus White, Shepard White, Millie White, Addisyn Maxwell.

Special thanks to El Reposo Nursing Facility and all of their wonderful staff for taking such great and loving care of our mother.

Pallbearers will be Christopher James, Dalton Inman, Todd Gibbs, Kole Balentine, Tanner Gibbs, and Troy Talley.
