Lonnie Clemons

Lonnie Wayne Clemons, 75, of Killen, AL. passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. He was retired from Browns Ferry as a construction worker. Lonnie was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2025, from 10-12 noon, at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. The burial will follow at Shiloh Church of Christ cemetery. Officiating will be Frank Mills and Phillip Clemons at the graveside.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, W.T. Clemons and Pauline Clemons; brothers, Thomas Clemons and Douglas Clemons.

He is survived by his wife Glenda Canerday Clemons; step-son, Phill Clemons (Marsha); brother, Mike Clemons; sisters, Jewel Creasy, Marie Mewburn, Patsy Davis, Mary Wilbourn, Charlotte Clemons, and Teresa Henkel; grandchildren, Jake Clemons and Matt Clemons; great grandchildren, Lillianna Clemons and Bentley Carter Wade; and long-time friend Dusty Daniel. He loved all of his family dearly.

Pallbearers will be Randy Gist, Mark Behel, David Clemons, Mickey Haddock, John Walker, Mike Clemons, and Dusty Daniel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carpenter Brothers of Cross Point Church of Christ and  Charles Elledge.
