Linda Bamberg Medders

Linda Bamberg Medders, 84, of Florence, AL, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, from 1:00-3:00pm at Highland Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow. Officiating will be John Brock and Chris Underwood.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Ruth Bamberg; sister, Patty Bamberg Wallace; brother, Tommy Bamberg; and daughter, Jennie Linn Medders.

She is survived by her husband, Joe E. Medders; daughter, Carrie Lee Barnett (Ken); brother, Rod Bamberg (Earleen); sisters, Tish Bamberg Patton (John); grandchildren, Brady Barnett Whitman (Kenon); and great-grandchildren, Blakely Reign Wood, Beckham Drake Whitman, Keeton Layne Whitman.

Pallbearers will be Jack Bobo, Tom Childers, Roy Graves, Chris Dean, Jim Gilmore, Jimmy Vardaman, and Joe Tate. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mickey Andrews, Bill Farris, Jimmy Hicks, Bill Walsh, Billy Stovall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Highland Baptist nursery ministry.
