Linda Earl (Upton) Cruce

Linda Earl Upton Cruce, 84, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and a great-grandmother.

A visitation will be held June 22, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 at Greenview Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00.  Officiating will be Chris Underwood, of Highland Baptist Church. Linda was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a First National Bank employee for many years.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lucille McLemore Upton.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas (Ferdy) Cruce; son, Thomas (Bryan) Cruce Jr. (Amy) of Center Star; daughter Angela Cruce Lovelady (James) of Town Creek; brother John Upton (Carolyn) of Florence and sister Gloria Upton Frawley (Fred) of Brentwood, Tennessee.  Grandchildren, Neeley Jung (Eugene), Pariss Brown (Terry), Allie Craig Cruce, Chad Lovelady, Chris Lovelady (Libby), and Zach Lovelady (Krystina); great-grandchildren Olivia Jung, John Coles Brown, Ellis Faye Brown, Cloey Lovelady Terry (Chet), Ava Lovelady, Maci Lovelady, Gunner Lovelady, Jesy Faith Lovelady, Jessie Reese Smith, Cooper Lovelady, Dani James Lovelady, and a host of nieces and nephews.  And her lifetime special friend, Faye Vines.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Chad Lovelady, Chris Lovelady, Zach Lovelady and nephews Earl McGuire, Phillip Cruce and Rick Frawley.
