Lillian "Trudy" Hayes Tidwell

Lillian “Trudy” Tidwell, 80, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at her home.  She was retired from Walmart.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Billy Akers.

Trudy was preceded in death by her first husband, Dalton Hayes; her second husband, Lois Tidwell; her parents, Billie and Ollie Baskins; eight siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Hayes, Muscle Shoals; daughter, Janice Hayes, Muscle Shoals; special niece, Denise Lee, Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Justin and Veronica Hayes, Morton, IL. and Jason and Michelle Hayes Killen; great grandchildren, Jaxon Hayes, Zoe Hayes, and Jordan Adams; and her fur baby, Misty.

Pallbearers will be Bill Reed, Mike Heupel, Will Akers, Jason Hayes, Justin Hayes, and Storme Patrick.

The family would like to thank the staff at Enhabit Hospice, and a special thanks to nurses, Alex, Jowana, and Candace.
