Larry Gilbert Williams

Larry Gilbert Williams, 77, of Florence, AL, passed away on January 1st, 2026 at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a retired police officer for the Florence Police Department and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6th from 12pm-2pm at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2pm in the Greenview Chapel. The burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be David Greg.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gail Williams; parents, Gilbert and Pauline Williams; and brothers, Gary Williams, Lance Williams, and Eugene Williams.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Michelle Williams; nephew, Don Williams (Jacqueline); and niece, Pam Traffansledt.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
