Keith Wendell McBrayer, Jr.

Keith Wendell McBrayer, Jr., 77, of Florence, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at his home after a brief illness of liver cancer. Keith was retired from TVA.  He was a member of Word Fellowship Church.  At Word Fellowship Church he was a founding member of the Men’s Prayer and Bible Study Group, a member of the Special Services Prayer Group, and a member of Flash MOB Coffee Group.

The most important thing in Keith’s life was to know the Lord Jesus and to make Him known.

Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Jo-Tate McBrayer; father, Keith McBrayer, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Vernon McBrayer; paternal grandmother, Charity Defoor McBrayer; and maternal grandmother, Martha Locker Tate; and maternal grandfather Gilbert Tate.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda McBrayer Lambert; nephews, Andrew Lambert (Elizabeth) and great nieces, Ellis and Hollin Lambert and Matthew Lambert (Jill) and great nephews, Ray and Jack Lambert.

A time of "Praise and Worship of the Lord Jesus Christ" will be held celebrating "the life of Jesus Christ" in Keith's life, March 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Word Fellowship Church, 101 County Road 426, Killen, Al.
