Jose Miguel Henrique Suazo

Jose Miguel Henrique Suazo, 90, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Helen Keller Hospital. He was retired from the United States Air Force having served for twenty years and five days, and from FAA for 33 years. Jose was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Officiating will be Frank Mills.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Margarita Suazo; siblings, Leroy Suazo, Isidora Montoya, Frankie Suazo, Gloria Moya, Thomas Suazo, and Julia Suazo.

He is survived by his wife, Madeliene Sue Barber Suazo; daughter, Deborah L. Suazo; grandchildren, Megan L. Manasco, Katherine L. Manasco, both of Arizona; sisters, Teofila “Bebe” Montoya, Antonia Salazar, and Maria “Tita” Chapin.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Montoya, Grace MacDonald, Michelle Montoya, Frank Ly, Orlando Ly, Benjamin Ly, Howard Caperton, and Jeff Thompson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.
