Jonathan Carol Hester

Jonathan Carol Hester, 74, passed away July 25, 2025, at his residence.

His memorial service will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.

J. C. had an extensive career in real estate and property appraisal, but his passion and love were for the theater.  He enjoyed entertaining since his early days in elementary school and high school. J. C. graduated from UNA in theater. Many people saw him in the TV series, ‘In the Heat of the Night’, which was filmed in Rome, GA. where he lived at the time.

J. C. served our country in the U. S. Army in military intelligence during the Vietnam era.

J. C. was preceded in death by his parents, James and “Pat” Hester.

He is survived by his brother, Jim Hester.
