John Tracy Statom

John Tracy Statom, 65, of Florence, passed away on December 26, 2025.  His visitation will be on Tuesday from 1pm until 2pm at Greenview Funeral Home with his Celebration of Life following at 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.  Bro. Chris Underwood is officiating. 

Mr. Statom was preceded in death by his parents, John Price Statom, and Alice Simmons Statom.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Rhonda J. Statom, daughters, Melina Jan Bolden, and Sonya Ann Vaden (Randall), both of Florence, brother, Sterling Josh Statom (Tracie), grandson, Oliver Cabler, nieces, Megan Holderfield (Turner), Morgan Nalbach (Nate), and nephew, Garret Statom. 

Mr. Statom loved spending time with his grandson, Oliver and going to dirt track racing and watching his daughter and son in law race. He was a lifelong member of Local 558 IBEW. He also loved Alabama football.  Roll Tide!!
