Jo Anne Hall Underwood

Jo Anne Underwood, 78, of Florence, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Helen Keller Hospital. She was a beautician and a greeter at Church of the Highlands.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.  Officiating will be Bro. Jeff Crosswhite.

Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Frances Hall; husband, Harry Underwood, Jr.; and nephew, Jeffrey Jones.

She is survived by her son, Mike Underwood (Sabrina); daughter, Belinda Vick (Geoff); sisters, Mary Lou Jones (Ronald), Smithfield, VA. and Donna West, Marietta, OH; grandchildren, Jessica Lee (Chase), Kaitlin Smith (Justin), Geoffrey Vick, Jr. (Cora), Madalyn Underwood, Hannah Underwood, and Mick Underwood; great grandchildren, Evie, Beck, Oliver, Bowen, baby Smith on the way, and a host of other loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Geoffrey Vick, Jr., Mick Underwood, Justin Smith, Chase Lee, Nathan Wilkins, and Luke Brannon.

Our sweet “Jogie” has entered her Heavenly Home.  She cherished all her “Specials”, and there was always room at her table for everyone.  As a pastor’s wife, she found great joy in children’s ministry for many years.  Our “Jogie” will be so greatly missed, but we find peace in knowing she is with Jesus.
