Jean (Scott) Grigsby

Jean Scott Grigsby, 81, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on September 1, 2025.  She was born May 15, 1944 in Mt. Sterling, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Wade Grigsby; children, Catherine Powers (Charlie), David Grigsby (Shelbie), and Deidre Ross; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Grayford Reuben and Lily Maxine Scott; sisters, Vicki Suzanne Voyles and Jane Scott Cooper.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The service will be held in Greenview Memorial Chapel at 1:00, with the burial to follow in Greenview Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
